[Salon] Tell GoFundMe to go f**k themselves!

If you contributed to the GoFundMe fundraiser please be sure to read the instructions below.

The Grayzone has benefited from such an incredible outpouring of support over the last month for our first ever crowdfunding effort. The fundraiser on GoFundMe is now over $90,000 (of a $125,000 goal) with over 1100 individual donors! This effort is aimed to raise funds in order to offer staff writing positions to three of our most dedicated contributors: Kit Klarenberg, Wyatt Reed and Alex Rubenstein.

GoFundMe has stated that it should only take a few days for your donation to be transferred to the Grayzone accounts. Well, it's been over three weeks and not one cent has been transferred. Nothing!

We have been in touch with GoFundMe a few times and it's clear that they are cowering to political pressure which they describe as "external concerns" and that it is “for our safety” that they aren't transferring funds. Read more at the article just published at The Grayzone.

GoFundMe has not told you that the money you donated has been held by them in an act of financial sabotage. We want to make sure that you know what is going on.

We reached out to other platforms and have had the co-founder and CTO of SpotFund offer his personal approval of our fundraiser for that platform.
